| Abstract: | In this paper, the advantages of natural gas engines and some related problems of their application have been discussed. Based on the comparison of the advantages and drawbacks of some typical existing natural gas engines worldwide in detail, especially the fuel feeding system, combustion strategy and the control system, the technical layouts of both the diesel - CNG dual fuel engine and CNG mono - fuel engine to be developed have been presented. |
