摘    要:磁流变液是一种新型智能材料,其屈服强度在外加磁场作用下可以在毫秒量级内发生变化,利用磁流变液剪切应力可以进行动力的传递.该文应用Bingham模型来描述磁流变液的本构方程,在理论上探讨了盘式磁流变液调速风扇离合器的工作机理,建立离合器的动力学模型,并导出工程设计计算公式,为盘式磁流变风扇离合器的设计提供了理论依据.

Abstract:Magnetorheological fluids are new intelligent materials that respond to an imposed magnetic field with a change in their yield stress. It can be employed to transmit torque by the shear stress of MR fluids. In this paper, the design method of the disc-shaped magnetorheological fan clutch is investigated theoretically. A Bingham model is used to characterize the constitutive behavior of MR fluids subject to an external magnetic field strength. The expressions of the torque and the output rotational speed within the clutch is derived to provide the theoretical foundation in the discal design of the clutch. Based on this equation, after mathematical manipulation, the calculations of the radius of the disc, the thickness and volume of MR fluids within the disc-shaped magnetorheological fan clutch are yielded.
