| Abstract: | By means of vector method the author exercises a theoretical analysis on the engagement mechanism of Model Btongs, establishes an equation set-up consisting of 51 equations and their calculation procedures, thus obtaining some new methods for the design, strength analysis and structural improvement of Model B tongs. |
