摘    要:以天然钛铁矿为主要原料,采用自蔓延高温合成(SHS)技术,通过铝热、碳热还原法合成了金属间化合物/陶瓷基复合材料。探讨了碳源(石墨和碳黑)对FeTiO3-Al—C体系自蔓延高温合成过程及产物结构特征的影响。结果表明:石墨作碳源燃烧合成的TiC更接近于化学计量比的TiC,且TiC颗粒较粗,燃烧温度、燃烧波速度均较高,反映了碳源结构差异对燃烧合成的影响。

Abstract:TiC-Al_2O_3/Fe_3Al composite(I/CMC) was synthesized by insitu carbothermal and aluminothermal reduction using natural ilmenite as raw materials.The effects of carbon sources on the SHS processes of the FeTiO_3-AlC system and the structure features of the as-obtained powders were investigated.It is shown that the TiC synthesized with graphite as carbon sources is more close to the stoichiometric TiC.The size of TiC particles is larger and the combustion temperature and the velocity of combustion wave are higher than that with carbon black as carbon sources.The results reflect the effect of structural differences between the two carbon sources on the synthesis of TiC-Al_2O_3/Fe_3Al composite by SHS.
