| Abstract: | The typical joint of a huge ellipsoidal aluminum dome in the middle part of the Shanghai Science & Technology Museum is analyzed using the finite element program ANSYS.The stress distributions in the structural aluminum member,the gusset plate,the lockbolt fastener are studied respectively.Based on the analysis,some conclusions are made in the paper. |
