Abstract:As to the protection of pedestrian leg during the impact of pedestrian and vehicle,a 2D multi-body dynamics model is established based on MCKF model and simple beam theory.Flexible body is used to simulate ligaments to meet the high precision of knee joint modeling required by lower leg impactor;the different damping coefficients and stiffness coefficients are introduced into multi-body model to meet the damping and rigid requirements of some joints.The material of original rigid hammer is improved by making reference of the tests in ECE No.631/2009,and the MCKF model are compared with the model established by LSTC corporation.The comparison results indicate that the acceleration,bending angle,and shear displacement can be accurately predicted by the MCKF model,and the trend of EA curve is similar to the one of LSTC model.The MCKF model can provide references for designers to implement the prophase development of vehicle foreside structure.
