Hydraulic rod is the major connecting device of the shearer.Fatigue fracture has occurred several times for the special principle and working conditions of hydraulic rod.Based on the physicalchemical testing and analyzing of the design,craft,material and using of the fatigue fractured hydraulic rod,reasons of fatigue fracture and suggestions for improvement has been obtained,which has certain reference value for shearer design and optimization.
