基于颜色和形态学的交通标志检测技术的研究

摘    要:通过利用交通标志的颜色特征,采用基于RGB空间的彩色分割方法进行图像分割.对分割出的图像进行灰度增强处理,比较和分析了不同边缘检测算子和阈值分割的方法,使用固定阈值分割方法对图像进行二值化,使目标区域突显.利用数学形态学腐蚀算法对图像进行轮廓提取,并通过形状特征对交通标志进行形态学分析.通过MATLAB软件仿真实验,说明算法具有一定实用性.

Abstract:The color segmentation method based on RGB space is used in traffic sign images by means of the features of color. The images are dealt with grey enhancement after segmentation. Different methods in edge detection and threshold segmentation are compared and analyzed. A segmentation method of fixed threshold is used by binarization for making target area prominent. The outline is extracted by erosion and dilation of mathematic morphology, and the features of shape are analyzed by morphology. The algorithms are practical through MATLAB simulation experiments.
