RESHAPE NEW ASIAN URBAN LANDSCAPE

This article mainly reflects some of the current problems in the urban landscape environment in Asia. These problems are generally caused by the following reasons: 1.politically driven landscape initiatives, 2.using landscape to increase development value, 3.appropriating western landscaping methodologies. After analysing the current landscape development trend in Asia, the author demonstrates his ideas of how to reshape New Asia Urban Landscape by using three examples in China, the Philippines and Singapore.
