| Abstract: | The reasons causing burning-on and metal penetration defect of medium-large furan resin sand steel castings wereanalyzed. An introduction was made to the measures to be taken and problems to be noticed in order to prevent burning-onand metal penetration defects in the aspects of raw materials choice of furan resin sand, control of molding sand preparingprocess parameters, molding operation, coating brushing, pouring temperature and so on. |
