| Abstract: | This paper expatiates on the characteristics, structure, system configuration, operation kinds and main interfaces of integrated broadband optical access network (IB OAN). The configuration of optical fiber distributing network is included, and the comparison between IB OAN and optical fiber digital network conducted. The applications of IB OAN in electric power system are illustrated as well. |
