Abstract:It is not overall or complete that taking the index of coal consumption for pumping water as only characteristic index of energy conversion during peak clipping and valley filling. In addition to the coal consumption index for pumping water, the coal saving indexes for valley filling and peak clipping should be considered. This paper provides the computing model for these two indexes. The computing results show that the sum of these two coal saving rate is always bigger than unit coal consumption. In comparison with other computation methods, this one has same computing results, and is simpler and clearer.
