| Abstract: | The technique of micro-surfacing (polymer modified asphalt emulsion slurry seal) is a good method for pavement maintenance. Micro-surfacing is widely applied to maintenance of expressway and proved to be a method of good cost performance abroad. But it is still at a starting stage in China today. The technique of micro-surfacing on the basis of laboratory evaluation and tentative execution in the Xi-Tong expressway maintenance was summarized. The results can be consulted in the similar maintenance projects. |
