QUALITY ASSURANCE(Q.A.)AND QUALITY ASSURANCE IN NUCLEAR POWER PLANTS

The safety importance of some industrial practices such as missile, space ships, nuclear power and the organizational manner in their productions has created a new quality managem-ent system—quality assurance system. This paper discusses the meaning of quality assurance and the necessity of its rappearance, introduces its short history and presents its basic principles, constituents and implemented methods. Through the preparation for the Q. A. programme of the first nuclear power plant in our country—Guangdong Nuclear Power Plant, the essential princ-iples and requirments for nuclear power plant＇s Q. A. system pro-gramme and procedures are introduced. Based on the above kno-wledge readers can understand Q. A.＇s significant function in the construction and operation of nuclear power plant.
