Study of the Synergism between Diesel Fuel Additives and Diesel Particle Filter

Diesel fuel additive decreases the smoke produced in the combustion chamber of the engine,while the diesel particle filter can control the particle emission from the exhaust pipe effectively.The types of diesel fuel additive,the filter materials and the regeneration methods are described.The mechanism that how diesel fuel additive assists the regeneration of the diesel particle filter and the problems in the process are studied.
