Hydrochemical Characteristics of Surface Water and Groundwater in Xiaoling River Fan of Jinzhou City

Abstract:In order to analyze the interaction between the surface water and groundwater of the Xiaoling River Fan, based on the field survey and sampling, hydrochemical characteristics, recharge sources and local differences of surface water and groundwater from the piedmont to the coastal plain in the Xiaoling River Fan were analyzed. The results show that from the piedmont area to the offshore plain, the groundwater type in the study area has gradually transitioned from low-salinity HCO3-Ca freshwater to coastal Cl-Na brackish water. The surfer water type has gradually transitioned from HCO3·SO4-Ca·Mg, HCO3·Cl-Na to Cl·SO4-Na·Ca, Cl-Na type. The hydrogen and oxygen isotopes of groundwater and surface water are lower than the atmospheric precipitation line, indicating that atmospheric precipitation is the main source of replenishment. Surface water is strongly concentrated by evaporation. Affected by factors such as geological and hydrogeological conditions, there are certain spatial differences in the interaction between groundwater and surface water.
