Abstract:A vibration energy harvester transforms the vibration energy from the external environment into electrical energy, which has the advantages of green and sustainable, energy saving and environmental protection, flexible design. It has a broad application prospect in the fields of industry, biology, medicine, and military. In order to make a vibration energy harvester adapt to more complex and changeable working environment, and improve its harvesting power and working frequency band, a kind of multi beam structure, namely Z-shaped beam structure piezoelectric energy harvester, was proposed in this study. Natural characteristics of the designed energy harvester were investigated theoretically. Moreover, effects of structure size, excitation direction, external load and other parameters on the performance of energy harvester were discussed by the finite element method. Results show that the Z-shaped beam piezoelectric energy harvester achieves multi-mode energy harvesting through a reasonable analysis and design.
