| Abstract: | It has been proved that accidents associated with the gap between steps and skirting of escalators are most frequent.This paper discusses the safety rules for escalators and the safety training,depicts six kinds of anti-entrapping devices,and notes that some design paramenters for these devices must be quantitatively determined. |
