| 摘 要： | 以Sigma Designs公司解码芯片EM8500为基础，设计了一种新型DVD播放器．它能够播放Divx删视频、WMA、MP3和MPEG-4AVI等格式的文件，并且提供了直接连接到电脑显示器、电视机或投影机的输出接口．文中对MPEG-4播放器系统开发平台以及硬件和软件的实现进行了详细介绍，并通过样机开发证明了该设计方案的合理性．该系统具有体积小、功能强、清晰度高等特点．

| Abstract: | This paper is focused on the design of a next-generation progressive DVD players that support playback of DivX~(TM) Video, WMA, MP3 and MPEG-4 AVI files, which has the direct outputs to monitors, TV sets and projectors. The paper details the development platform and the implementation of the hardware and software. Based on the research, develops a MPEG-4 player, which has smaller size, more functions and more vivid image and gives a convincing demonstration to the research. |
