| Abstract: | In this paper, the general situation of RE application in steel is stated, the RE roles in purification, alloying, inclusion modification of steel are summered and the influences of the preconditions, such as molten steel quality, RE adding methods, steel making processing and so on, on the RE applications in steel are emphasized. The suggestions on the development, the basic theory research of RE steel as well as the characteristics that the RE applied in steel should have are also given in this paper. |
