Improve the First Pass Yield of Process and Reduce Quality Cost

Based on analysis of the quality cost and the detail costs of the preventive cost、the qualification cost 、the damage cost in the factory and the damage cost out the factory,results showed that the damage cost in the factory is the most need to be controlled in the present.Based on analysis of the final pass yield of process、the first pass yield of process and the 6 sigma quality level,the packaging quality level in the integrated circuit packaging factory in the present has been reached 5 sigma quality level.Based on the detail analysis of the rework cost,in the 99.98% of the final pass yield of process quality level in the integrated circuit packaging factory in the present,by PDCA recycle to improve the first pass yield of process and continual improvement the process,improve the capability of the process and reach the 6 sigma quality level,reduce the quality cost to 5%～10% from 11%～15% in the present.
