Application of Graphical Technology in Power Dispatching Safety Performance Improvement System

The central task of power dispatching institution at all levels is to ensure the safe and stable operation of power grids. In view of the necessity for further improvement of the existing dispatching automation system with respect to the information level and lack of security verification, a novel dispatching safety performance improvement system based on graphical interface is introduced in this paper. By using the graphical integrated design, the functions of synchronized security check in the operation process are realized. The graphical technology, such as Gantt chart, is applied in operation process management to upgrade dispatching security efficiency. The actual operation results demonstrate that the system proposed can dramatically reduce the work intensity of dispatchers and improve the security and intelligence of power grid dispatching operation, with excellent universality and scalability.
