Abstract:When under loading the stress and strain of the spiral case will affect the stress and strain in the surrounding concrete, through the three-dimensional analysis of the finite element method it is known that in the case of coaction of the spiral case and the surrounding concrete at the high head pumped storage station the internal water pressure is the chief factor influencing the stress in the concrete. On this basis the stuctural design and reinforcing are carried on.
