The Study of Event Design Trend in Contemporary Museum Architecture

The strategic use of space and contents are much emphasized in contemporary museum operation. Events are introduced into museum experience to increase the attraction. This paper focuses on the architectural reply for this Events trend. Cases are studied and four types of museum architectural event design are analyzed. It is concluded that event design of museum architecture is essential for contemporary museum management and development,and it should be an important subject for museum architects.
