| Abstract: | Inverse gel permeation chromatography can be fruitfully used for the texture determination of porous mineral beads. However for swelling macroporous gels the same procedure may lead to flagrant errors, which are pointed out on some examples. Thermodynamic considerations explain such results and some ways to take into account perturbing effects are suggested. |
