中央犹他工程

中央犹他调水工程于20世纪中期开始授权建设，是一个跨世纪的具有综合效益的调水上程。工程为犹他州有效利用科罗拉多河的水资源，加强尤因塔流域和博纳维尔流域水资源的调度和分配发挥了重要作用，并将成为盐湖城等经济发达地区牛活和工业用水的重要水源。从工程规划、建设管理及工程效益等方面介绍中央犹他调水上程的基本概况，希望能为我国南水北调工程的建设提供一定的参考。

The Central Utah Project

The Central Utah Project is a water diversion project with multiple benefits started in the last Century, some parts of which are still being constructed. The project provides Utah with the opportunity to beneficially use a sizable portion of its allotted share of the Colorado River wa ter, which also benefits to gather and distribute the water source in the Uintab and Bonneville Basins. It will play a significant role in meeting the municipal and industrial requirements of the most b.ighly developed part of the State just as Salt Lake City. This article focuses on the project from the aspects of plan, development, management, benefits and so on, which is expected to afford some references to the South to North Water Di version Project in our country.
