| Abstract: | High-power fiber lasers have wide applications in the filed of optical communication, printing, marking, material processing, medicine etc. High-power fiber lasers may substitute conventional lasers largely, have new application of laser, broaden the scope of laser industry. The history and recent development of high-power fiber lasers home and aboard are surveyed. The prospect of high-power fiber lasers is discussed. |
