从我院英语专业建设中想到的几个问题

本文通过对英语专业发展过程的分析,论述了英语专业目前及未来所要面对的一些问题,提出了英语专业在日益竞争的市场环境下的一些基本对策,指出大学英语专业建设中,制定满足市场需求的培养方案、牢牢掌握语言基本功及加强对教师综合素质的培养,是专业建设中的关键。

On some issues arising from English majors

Through analyzing the history of English teaching and learning in China,this paper attempts to illustrate some issues facing administrators and teachers of English majors,and points out that the key to maintain the position of English majors at China's college education is to formulate a market-oriented learning plan,further stress on the training of basic language skills,and enhance teachers' caliber.
