微型扑翼飞行器机翼气动特性研究

摘    要:依据微型扑翼飞行器产生升力和推力的机理,设计了一套能够快速、有效求得扑翼飞行器机翼气动特性的计算方法。计算程序通过V isual Basic和Fortran语言混合编程来实现,核心部分是利用改进的片条理论方法估算扑翼机翼的气动性能。计算结果与在西北工业大学微型飞行器专用风洞中所进行的吹风试验结果吻合良好,证明了该方法的正确性和有效性。在此基础上,研究了不同机翼平面形状、不同展弦比、不同上下扑时间比对微型扑翼飞行器机翼气动性能的影响,这些参数对微型飞行器的设计有一定的指导和参考意义。

Abstract:Aim.To our knowledge,there does not exist any paper in the open literature concerning theoretical prediction of aerodynamic performance of MAV flapping wings by using strip treory.We now present a method for theoretically predicting such performance using the strip theory proposed by J.D.Delaurier~([2]);when applying strip theory,we make some modifications to make it suitable for MAV.In the full paper,we first summarize briefly Delaurier's strip theory and then explain in detail its application to calculating effectively a set of aerodynamic characteristics of MAV flapping wings.In this abstract,we just add some pertinent remarks to listing the following four topics of explanation:(1) the Delaurier's strip theory;(2) experiments and analysis;(3) the analysis of aerodynamic characteristics;(4) software design;under topic 1,we used the Delaurier's strip theory to calculate the aerodynamic parameters of flapping wings;under topic 2,wind tunnel tests were performed in the special MAV wind tunnel of Northwestern Polytechnical University and these test results show preliminarily the reliability and validity of strip theory as applied to the calculation of the aerodynamic performance of MAV flapping wings;under topic 3,we compared the aerodynamic characteristics of different plane shapes,different aspect ratios,and different ratios of up to down flapping time and the results of comparison are given in Figs.6 through 11;these results of comparison,we believe,should prove helpful to the MAV designer for making MAV stay longer in air and its payload larger;under topic 4,the computational software was developed by using Fortran/Visual Basic mixed programs.
