| Abstract: | As far as the fact that the term expansion joint used in industrial furnace field is some times confused with expansion contraction joint,the term expansion joint,in this article,was explained from the respects of thermodynamic properties of refractory, definition of expansion joint and set up of expansion contraction joint.It was concluded that the term expansion joint shall be correctly used. |
