Abstract:Separation of enantiomers of bupropion hydrochloride by HPLC was established using the carboxymethyl-β-cyclodextrin(CM-β-CD in short) as chiral mobile phase additive.The influences of the type and concentration of chiral mobile phase additive,the ratio of organic modifiers,the pH value and the flow rate on the enantiomers separation were investigated systematically.The results demonstrate that the better separation was achieved when the mobile phase consist of acetonitrile-methanol-water(40∶30∶30,ν/ν/ν,pH=4.16,containing 0.5 g·L-1 CM-β-CD) at the flow rate of 1.20 mL·min-1.The method was simple,fast,small relative standard deviations and considerably reproducible.
