The Application of Advanced Metering Facilities and Management Means in Lubricating Oil Production

Advanced metering facilities, such as Automatic Tank Measuring System, Automatic Batch Blending （ABB）, Simultaneous Metered Blending （SMB） and Automatic Filling Line, etc. , were applied in PetroChina East China Lubricant Blending Plant. And some good management methods, like Intermediate Check Methods, Statistical Process Control （ SPC）, Measurement System Analysis （ MSA）, etc., were also used. The application results showed that the metering accuracy is improved, the loss, the probability of production accidents and personal injury accidents are lowered.
