| Abstract: | The applications of electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) to the research of electrodeposition of various metals and alloys were introduced. The article is to be published in three parts. The first part gives some foundational knowledge about EIS, including the concepts of complex number and complex impedance, as well as some equivalent circuits of electrochemical cell under various conventional conditions. |
