摘    要:42V电力系统是在上世纪90年代由于对电功率的需求不断增加而开发的,目前已应用于轻型混合电动车(HEV)。为了满足轻型混合电动车舒适、安全、燃油效率高的要求,开发研制了42V系统用36V-VRIA电池,这种电池在加速寿命试验中模拟了轻型混合电动车的行驶模式,试验中显示出缩短电池寿命性能的主要原因是电池产生热量、高温所致。因此,分别试制了18V分体式和136V整体槽电池,并在整体槽电池中施加了热管理方法。事实证明,有效的热管理方法可以延长电池的寿命性能。

Development of 36V-VRLA Batteries with Thermal Management

Abstract:Development of 42V power system was initiated by the increasing demand of electric power in 1990' s and now it has been applied to a type of hybrid electric vehicle systems (HEV' s). 36V-VRLA battery is developed to meet the requirements of a mild hybrid vehicle, which should be comfortable, safe and with high fuel efficiency.Under the accelerated duration experiment, driving mode for the mild HEV is simulated using the battery, which shows that the battery duration is shortened due to the heat generation and high temperature. Thus, 18V-split and 36V-monoblock batteries are developed and meanwhile thermal management is applied in monoblock batteries. It is proved that effective thermal management can extend the duration of the battery.
