| Abstract: | This article introduces the developing process of High Strength Low Alloy Steel standard in China and the situation of main changes on each revision,for it has been revised five times since the first stan-dard draft in 1959. The author puts emphasis on describing the situation of the new standard GB1591- 94 in-cluding those of adopted international standard,microalloying by adding Nb,V,Ti,controlled rolling as well as improving the standard level significantly,The author also talks about how to understand and implement the new standard correctly, and puts forward several proposals. |
