中国文化在理工科大学英语教学中的现状及导入途径

跨文化交际中的＂中国文化失语现象＂已经引起外语教学界的关注。通过调查和测试发现：理工科大学的学生汉语能力不够,对母语文化还没有准确、深刻的把握;英语能力偏低,缺乏表达母语文化所必需的英文词汇。探讨了造成这一问题的根源,提出必须加强大学英语教材的建设,提高大学英语教师对中国文化的认识和教授能力,培养学生树立正确的文化观,并将中国文化内容纳入考试体系。

The Status of Chinese Culture Teaching and Approaches of Improving in College English Teaching of Science and Technology Universities

＂The aphasia of Chinese culture＂ in cross-cultural communication has caused concerns and worries in foreign language teaching field.After a series of researches and tests,the author finds that most students in science and technology universities lack of knowledge about their native culture and do not know how to introduce Chinese culture in English.To improve students＇ ability of expressing Chinese culture,we must add Chinese culture to textbooks and tests,train more competent teachers and help students form proper outlooks on cultures.
