| Abstract: | Different definitions on directing current and alternating current among electric circuit textbooks are given first.Then 3 examples are discussed to illustrate the shortcomings of these texts' definitions.After descussing to dictionary definition and the engineering definition,we give the proper method of teaching these two important concepts in the course of Principles of Electric Circuits. |
