Implementation of time-of-use electricity price policy by Jiangsu

For successive years the power consumption in Jiangsu province keeps growing rapidly,with an average growth rate of more than 15% from 2001,and the power supply strain has restricted the development of national economy.With the overall power source remaining unchanged,it is an appropriate method to implement the time-of-use electricity price policy for easing the power consumption conflict and for ensuring the orderly development of national economy.The implementation process,the effects,experiences and existing problems of the time-of-use price policy are explained,and some suggestions are put forward.
