| Abstract: | A scheme based upon motion estimation technology is proposed in this paper for tonal imege matching in guidance system. A sub-block divideings algorithm as well as associated hardware with motion estimation processor and high speed DSP have been developed from MDA in consideration of the similarity of video coding between tonal image matching and motion estimation for overcoming the obstacles of large tonal range, large real time image size and reference size, etc.. It is proved in experiment that the guidance approach is successful. |
