Experimental Study on the Flotation of Sulfur from Shizhuyuan Polymetallic Ore

The sulfur content in the raw ore of Shizhuyuan polymetallic ore is about 1%.Currently,the magnetic separation of iron-floating sulfur-floating tungsten-floating fluorite process is adopted.The sulfur that does not float in the entire floating section of sulfide ore accumulates large by in black-and-white tungsten mixed concentrate,sometimes as high as 6%.It affects the quality of the black-and-white tungsten mixed concentrate.In order to control the sulfur content in shizhuyuan black and white tungsten concentrate below 2.5%and improve the product quality,the process optimization test of the full floating section of sulfide ore was carried out.The best roughing conditions are pH=9.75,dosage of sodium silicate 1000 g/t,b sulfur nitrogen dosage 80 g/t,xanthate dosage 30 g/t,BK205 dosage 30 g/t.The sulfur concentrate with grade of 35.5%,recovery of 90.62%.Can be obtained through one roughing,one cleaning,one scavenging flotation process by the best conditions.The sulfur tailing grade of total flotation process can below 0.1%.
