Refer to the development trend of the communication industry, this article analyzes me cnanges or ~r netwu,~ equipment testing requirements and the limitations of the traditional testing method. Through evolution of carrier＇ s business in the future, it puts forward a new method of IP network equipment business superposition test, with the core router is intro- duced to establish multi service overlay test model and realization process. The multi-service stressing test case about the core router had been discussed in detail. It provides a more feasible test solution for the carrier by comparing with the traditional test results at last.
