| Abstract: | In this paper the early failure phenomena of asphalt pavement are analyzed, which contain pavement settlement, bridge bump, water damage and transverse cracks caused by bad base. Author points out that early failure prevention is an important content in expressway maintenance. At last some improvement measures are proposed. |
