摘    要:结合光纤散射机理分析,从光纤预制棒折射率分布、掺杂浓度、拉丝张力和拉丝热处理等方面着手研究,通过优化预制棒沉积工艺和改善拉丝条件来制备低损耗单模光纤,并采用光时域反射仪(OTDR)进行检测,结果表明,单模光纤在满足ITU-T G.652标准的同时,在1 550nm波长的衰减可进一步降低。

The Process of Reducing Single Mode Fiber Loss

Abstract:Base on the scattering mechanism of fiber, starting from some aspects such as the refractive index profile, doping concentration, drawing tension and thermal treatment of the fiber preform, low-loss optical fiber is fabricated by optimizing the deposition technique and improving the drawing condition of the preform. Meanwhile, it is tested using OTDR. The results show that the property of the single mode fiber meet the requirements of the ITU- T G. 652 standard, at the same time, the attenuation of the single mode fiber at 1 550 nm can be reduced further.
