The Preliminary Construction of a Remote Sensing Website

The education manner, with the development of Spatial Information Science, becomes more and more important. Computer-Aided Instruction (CAI) is one of the most effective modern assistant education methods, especially in the remote sensing (RS) education. CAI is intuitive and vivid, by which students can easily remember what their eyes and ears have touched and can better make up what they should have apperceived. So CAI is absolutely helpful for grasping abstract and crabbed concepts and has got a significant position in the RS education as the network is developing fleetly. It is convenient to widely spread remote sensing knowledge by building a remote sensing website. This website mainly includes the examination system, the courseware, and BBS of remote sensing based on the campus network environment. On the basis of construction of remote sensing website, students can study dynamically and mutually. As for the network based courseware of remote sensing, the technology of dynamic and mutual website is the key and needs to be resolved.
