| Abstract: | Combined with practical work in south-to-north water transfer project the mechanism and characteristics of alkali-aggregate reaction of concrete are introduced, at the same time practical measures and methods are presented to restrain alkali-aggregate reaction. Several questions deserving attentions in controlling alkali-aggregate reaction and matters deserving attentions in construction process are pointed out, in order to reduce the damages caused by alkali-aggregate reactions. |
