Discussion on Steam Turbine Operation Fault Treatment Techniques in Thermal Power Plant

As one of the three largest main machines in thermal power plant, safety operation of steam turbine has an important relationship with the economy and safety of the whole system. A lot of inevitable fault will appear in the process of steam turbine operation. This paper firstly introduces the working principle of the steam turbine in power plant, then summarizes several com- mon faults in the steam turbine operation and the treatment techniques, in order to provide references for personnel engaged in steam turbine operation and maintenance.
