Research on Refinement Management of SAP System Authorization

Generally the construction of SAP ERP system lasts for decades, during which a large number of project implementation demands will emerge with the shifting business. Due to each project involved in access control, how to achieve sustainable refinement management for access authorities will greatly affect the efficiency of project implementation, system stability, information security and even the success of the project. Based on the in-depth study on different SAP authorization management functions, this paper finds a reasonable way to use these functions. Further, combining with practical project experience, the standard regulations of management, application and documentation for the above functions are made to realize the refinement management of SAP authorization.
