Development and Application of Patrol Inspection System based on Transmission Line Conditions Monitoring Platform

To improve the ability of handling emergency due to transmission line faults, this paper develops a patrol inspection system with personnel scheduling and emergency repair decision analysis, which is helpful to make managers and on-site operators work together seamlessly. The functionalities of the patrol inspection system developed on the basis of the transmission line conditions monitoring platform are described in detail. Further, an example is provided to show how to integrate the transmission line conditions monitoring system with production management system to monitor device conditions, analyze faults, handle faults and report faults. Results of the application show that the proposed system provides decision support for transmission line emergency command and repair scheduling.
