| Abstract: | In this paper, we review the development of CBIR and discuss some main techniques of CBIR, including color index, shape index and texture index which are used in image retrieval. Typical commercial and experimental systems of content-based image retrieval are introduced. Based on the survey, the future research trends are given. |
