| 摘 要： | The Kitchen God' s Wife is considered to lay the literary status of Amy Tan.The oriental back ground of the mother impacts her way of thoughts and education in dealing with her daughter, which causes misunderstandings between them.They finally understand each other after the mother reveals her passed experience in pre-communist China.
